I'm So Excited

Today I created my first original piece of art using my Paint Shop Pro program. I'm a Boston Red Sox fan (can all the Red Sox Nation folks give me a shout out) & wanted to show my team pride.

I didn't want to go Google searching for Red Sox images so I decided to play around & see what I could come up with. I went playing around with some of the tools in my program (Selection Tool, Flood Fill, Raster Deform) to make the actual baseball. Applied a stitching tube, Bosox *free* font with the colors set to red & saved it in PNG format. I applied a 3D shadow behind the baseball so it would have a black outline & resized it to accommodate 8X10 matte paper.

It may not seem like a great feat to some but it was created by my hands so I'm feeling extremely happy about it.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It's oppressively hot in upstate NY so I'm trying to "chill" with the air conditioning on.

Decided to set some of my poetry to art so I've got a print that has a PSP template background.

I appreciate all the wonderful remarks I get from folk. Hope y'all have a truly blessed day.
